The VOLKSWAGEN France Group overwhelmingly chose PowerVote® and doubled the number of interactive keypads used for training

For over a year, the Training and Human Resources department of the Volkswagen France Group has been using the PowerVote interactive voting system to train its distribution and repairs networks for the Group’s 5 brands (Volkswagen, Skoda, Audi, Seat and Volkswagen Utility), among other things for the launch of new products such as the latest Skoda or the new Passat. This solution makes it possible to create interactive and enjoyable presentations, obtain the responses of the participants and display them in real time in the form of graphics using a video projector. In view of the success of this method, the group decided to extend this system of training to all areas, doubling its number of units from 24 to 48 cases of 15 keypads each.

Extension of the training via PowerVote

Improved memorisation thanks to the enjoyable nature of the training, the possibility of measuring the effectiveness of the training in real time and reacting immediately, more effective teams and finally a return on investment achieved in under a year …these are the benefits which convinced Volkswagen France to extend its training via PowerVote to all sectors and all areas of activity in the company:
•Commercial
•Services and parts
•Technical/Bodywork
From 8,000 employees, the interactive training via PowerVote will be extended to almost 12,000 people, i.e. between 960 and 1,000 sessions per year provided by 40 trainers.
According to Mr Lavoisier, head of the Commercial and Technical/Services Training department of the Volkswagen France Group, “For us, the major advantage of the PowerVote solution is being able to be both flexible and progressive. And in particular, the ability to modulate the frequencies allows us to measure the acquisition of knowledge simultaneously in the 14 rooms of our Villers Cotterêt centre. It’s incredible, isn’t it? »

From September, its use will be even more intensive

The Group plans to optimise the use of PowerVote by validating each stage of the training, which will make it possible to verify the understanding of messages and provide the opportunity for the trainer to constantly adapt to his audience. There are also plans for internet quizzes.
